SIGHTING 1
Location :- Eton Road, Burton upon Trent
Date :- 30/08/2007
Time :- Approx 8pm
Duration :- Approx 10mins
Was standing in the front garden, waving goodbye to
family.I looked up because it was a very clear night
and saw an orange light moving south-east across the
sky. At first glance it attacted my attention because
the light was not flashing, it moved alot quicker than a
plane, the colour was not usual in the sky (i have never seen
a light that colour in the sky before) and the light was also bigger
than anything else in the sky at that time.
It swung across the sky in a smooth motion and stopped in a position
south-south east from where we were standing. After about 5 minutes
the light became dimmer until it could hardly be seen, then dissapeared.
My partner also witnessed this event.

I was lying in bed, watching T.V. We sleep with our curtains open and i have a
veiw of the sky from my bed. Glancing out the window, i saw the same orange light
that i had seen earlier that day, moving very fast directly towards me (coming from the West)
I quickly nudged my partner and we ran to the window. I opened the window and hung outside
as the 'UFO' passed over our house. It made absolutely no noise and looked like a shiny metallic
ball with a swirling orange light underneath.
After it had passed over the house we both grabbed our dressing-gowns and the camera and ran outside,
I then took 2 photographs of the object as stopped just to the south of our location. After about
10 minutes we returned inside as the object was no longer moving.
Notes on the text :- I was a complete sceptic concerning matters of "UFO's", but after my experience I am a complete believer. I know what i saw and it WAS unexplainable as i had never seen any such flying-craft before.
The colour af the light resembled street-lighting and is therefore indicative of sodium.
